This article breaks down the digital storytelling process in to 4 very easy parts. The whole first part is just deciding what you want to talk about. That might seem simple but when I am doing critiques on digital stories that is the main thing I focus on - What is this about?
The only part that I didn't really agree with is that writing the script is in step 3 after you've selected the photos that will go in the story. It seems to me that the photos should be selected after you've decided what to say. I suppose there would be some wiggle room there and each author would have to do whatever he or she is comfortable with. Overall it was an interesting story and definitely one that I would refer to if I were writing my own digital story.
