I messed up and did this in week 2 instead so some of this will be repeated and added on from week 2. So if you're reading this for my personal reflective summary on the last two weeks you'll also want to scroll down and look for the one I posted last week!
Anyway, this week I really really enjoyed the digital story that I chose. It started out being a story about a person moving from a populous city to a city that is less populous. It really took a turn and was a lesson in what is important in life. This author really enjoyed the simple life because he could focus on just being happy rather than working just to keep up with others. I like this message a lot. I feel like a lot of what we do is for keeping up with others rather than for ourselves and our own happiness. The textbook chapter touched on this a little bit too.
Lastly, I want to repost my video that I recorded because I wanted it in the correct place and I thought it was important to our learning in the first week. Here it is:
I want to leave you with this video. Please, please, please watch it. It's only 30 seconds and fits right in to what we read about in our textbook. HERE's the link. Oddly enough I was working on this course while the tv was on. I wasn't even watching it but I heard this commercial and I had to rewind it to take a video. The last line is SO GREAT! Let me know what you think!!!
