I think it's pretty obvious that my favorite part of these last couple of weeks was the Holocaust digital story that I critiqued. I really enjoyed the story that it told and I enjoyed remembering a book that I read about the same subject. I recently read the book called Night by Elie Wiesel. This story was about a boy who went through the concentration camps during the Holocaust. It was amazing to read about the deplorable conditions that he endured. Then I heard this digital story and it just expanded all of that knowledge. Learning about the twins studies was especially interesting. My grand father is a twin and my dad is also a twin. If my family were Jewish we may have been impacted by these twin studies during the war. I even found myself doing some independent research on these twin studies after watching the video.
I also really liked the daily create that I chose to do where I had to use Google Maps. I explored this website quite a bit even after I submitted my response for that assignment. It was so so neat to see all these places around the world that I probably will never see. I had a hard time choosing just one place that I would visit. I'm looking forward to creating more things!
